Trust

Ceaseless friction
Push & pull contradiction
Possible to genuinely give
Without being used

Weary, weary
Cautious of others
Say we like brothers
How do I know
You’re not like the rest?

On surface
So friendly-
BAM!!!!
Two-faced
As you ram
A knife into my back
Rob me of my possessions
So greedily

Weeks pass, healing
Now cold and bitter?
No, not becoming
Of me
Back to the
Weary World
I flee
