Trust

Keep your friends close
But your enemies closer
Trust must be earned
You will learn as you grow older
On the outside
Everything seems right
Then they hit you
Thieves in the night
Don’t give your trust
To everyone you meet
For if you do
You will be a victim of deceit
Remember at times
When you need a friend the most
Your friends may not really
Be all that close
