It’s truly surprising given their feelings that climate activists have not sent us all reeling with words that convey the dire straits we are in like ‘Climate Pandemic’ ~ then the battle they’d win

The climate change is getting real here - twenty-six degrees one day, eighty-two degrees the next. What?

We think to ourselves when we see the latest climate disaster on TV, lets rally all together, but who to contact what to do and who and where do go to in order to rally. We have just had a major disaster in Durban, KZN, hundreds drowned in their home in an overnight flood some in their cars others slid down a cliff with the mud which buried them and their house - horrific. I guess its up to Poetry Soup poets to start things going! Hugs, blessings, Jennifer.

It is (past) time to fight this battle just as hard as Ukraine is fighting Russia. The climate disasters looming will make Putin look like a rank amateur...

Perhaps, gw. But, seriously, it will be too late to do anything about the climate change by the time most people in the world are convinced it is real. Sad! We do not seem to value experts much these days. And, we give entirely too much time to little spurts!

I believe that you are correct. Until the climate directly affects a person, he/she doesn't care to lift a finger to do something about it. I guess that's why the 'pocketbook' is often the key to elections. What affects a person's pocket... C'est la vie. :) gw
