True Vampires

They come out at night
If you catch them you might
Be able to see
They are also human beings
They love and feed
But only when they need

Hi Alexz, This is one of the less painless of your writes. Your potential is tremendous if you are willing to believe in yourself and go after the things you want. God Bless. Vince

Alexz, are you male or female; I never thought to ask. Please don't take offence if male. I have a distinct feminine side, myself. At any rate, makes no difference. I like your stuff. Love, daver

Alexz....everyone's friend. Love this one Alexz. I go for humor every time. As for my son....I don't think he bothers with poetry. He free lances on clarinet in San Francisco area. My poetry is spastic....I try to stay away from religion and the love lorn, as you'll see by my latest submission. Love, daver
