True Love Lasts

Time can heal any scar, scab, or wound
Reality is a tune I knowingly crooned
Unearth your passion, let it fly free
Eventually you & everyone else will see

Love can conquer all, this is true
Open your heart, no longer be blue
Vital to living, tenderness is the key
Eventually life will calm down, like a sea

Live life to the fullest, don't be shy
And then you'll have no need to cry
So hear these words of mine, my dear
Take them to heart & keep them near
So you can find true love that lasts
