True Love

Unmasked from my hideous form, Abyss will follow me no more, Humiliation, turns into felicitation, And my humanity will be reborn, For the years of all the lethargy, Serpentine and morn, Shall be forgotten on this day, And life will have a new dawn. Invulnerable where my walls, Set with something harder then stone, Clustered with confusion, My life became an unknown. Autumn sunsets rose, Upon each passing day, My life of quizzical puzzles, Soon went away. For you kindled up my heart, And took the pain away, You gave me something to believe in, You gave me yesterday.
