True Love

He has Cupids best wishes
He dreams of her kisses
He knows he has fallen in love
Butterflies caressing
The good lord gives his blessing
From his heavenly mansion above.

On one knee he proposes
A bouquet of white roses
Wedding song sung by church choir
His hand for hers reaches
As they listen to the speeches
To the honeymoon suite they retire.

Lovers so tender
Engage in loves splendour
Conceiving on that first morn
Nine months to the night
To their delight
On the morrow the baby is born.

Life's burden they shoulder
Together , They grow older
Old age must come to us all
They have played life's game
Now the lord calls his name
He knows he must answer that call.

With angels befriending
In a world where time has no ending
For the blink of an eye he must wait
Today he's excited
They are to be reunited
As she enters through god's holy gate.

Stars shimmer and glow
Those who are in love know
Up there love is forever true
Through god's good graces
With smiles on their faces
Together forever true love watches over you.

Love is such a beautiful thing Selena . I'm convinced that love becomes true love only if we are prepared to work at it every day of our lives .My grandparents and my parents believed they were soul mates but they worked at what they shared every single day but even soul mates share harsh words sometimes. True love overcomes that.
