True Love

Nervous conversation,
a language between couples
destined to meet.

Knowing that their paths
had to pass a thousand times before,
anxiously meeting for the first time.

Touching like school kids again,
they tightly hold each other
as they slowly dance to the songs.

Silently he prays
that this night wouldn't end
but this night could go on and on.

Another year has gone past
and the nights do go on and on.
When I look in your eyes,
I'm still dancing to the songs.

We have shared some rough years
this I truly regret.
But my love hasn't changed a bit
since the very first time we met.

Except to have grown stronger
and to appreciate you even more.
I have grown even closer
than our times on the dance floor.

I wish I could show you
what my words just can't say.
That is how much I love you,
and how much it grows each and everyday

I Love You
