True Love

Walking in the street,
Just thinking about you and me.
Lately everything is not
What it seems.
Slowly the rain pours down,
There’s not a single soul around.
I’m alone on this road.
My dreams I’ll soon follow
But I miss you
Every step of the way.
Its not easy
When the clouds in the sky
Are turning gray.
Somehow I know
I can make it
Without you for a while
But soon I’ll break down
And need you like
A motherless child.
I don’t know why
I’m feeling this way.
Just tell me,
Oh tell me,
that you’re here to stay.
I really need you
In my life,
And in someway
I know that you’re
Feeling this vibe.
We can make it,
Through everything we do.
Because I know for sure
That our love is true.

there is a sad truth in this in which touches only the souls that experienced the same feeling

The longing is palpable on this one, Serenity! You express remorse and loss well in this piece. Warm regards, John.
