True Love

When I first looked at you;
I knew it was a love long overdue.

I carried you for 9 months;
Waiting for the day that you would come.

As time went by, my tummy grew;
And all the while, I knew;

When that special day came;
I knew the pain would go away.

But the pain was there to say;
I had a precious baby coming my way.

I never really knew what real love was;
Until the day we met, I knew it was love.
