True Friendship

Have you ever watched a butterfly,
The Beauty and the Grace,
That perch among the flowers,
Looking for a special place,

I watch them as they flutter,
and I start to stutter,
And wonder how it could be,
Through a Beautiful Butterfly,
Your face come to me.

I guess that's easy to explain,
A friendship so warm and kind,
Just like the sweet butterfly,
So rare to find.

Not a lot, but the close ones I have, I'll forgive them for everything because our friendship is what matters and my butterflies will not be kept in a jar, instead they will come and go as they please

I love this analogy a lot, a wonderful poem to start here on Soup, and I wish you welcome! Comparing friendship feelings to butterfly feelings, so warm and rare.
