True Friends

A true friend is like a solid rock,
there to take the bumps and
knocks. Like a rough stone in
the raging river out of the turmoil
a smooth yet solid cobble shall
be delivered.

Time may pass without feeling
that bond we had. Yet inside
our hearts and souls it's no surprise,
true friendship never dies.

Instead
when asked upon a true friend
will carry you on. Rising to your
aid, a comfort in times of disarray.
Feel the embrace of love as he carries
you onwards.
