True Christmas

Christmas is so joyful and merry          -rhyme
A time of giving and cheer
It’s neither sad nor scary
But the best time of the year

The ground all covered in white           -monorhyme         
All the decorations are such a sight
All the lights so colorful and bright
Everything’s beautiful on this night

A joyous time of giving gifts                -free verse
And filling bellies oh so full
Just don’t forget 
The main thing to celebrate
The night baby Jesus was born
