Trixie Is Turning Thirteen
Trixie had never been a teenager before her birthday
She had no idea which finger to flick or which toe to wiggle
Her godmother said “You’ll figure it out in your own way “
She gave her some faerie juice, just a tiny jiggle.
Trixie’s parents said no matter what you decide,
We know you will make woodland creatures joyful not blue.
Just make sure your enthusiasm and soulfulness you never hide.
Know this, Trixie, the whole family is proud of you.
