Trivial Matters
The small things
That do not matter
At that time
Trivial anecdotes
Embellish our lives
Like a play that emotes
Part of our chronicle
That keeps us afloat
During troubled times.
As we recall
Events of the past
Regardless of importance
It brings some balance
With a smile
A moment of nostalgia
And a sense of warmth
A port for an
Emotional storm.
