Trinidad

Trinidad, you are the place, I visit in my dreams
I remember the long walks and bright skies
The colourful rainbows and green grass
The blue seas and cool breeze
The fresh fruits and perfume flowers
The scorching sun and the long hours of playing and having fun
The barking dogs and whistling birds
The loud laughter and crowing fouls
The starry nights and sweet melodies
The diversity in cultures and its friendly people
Trinidad how I long to return to the land
In which I can rest my weary head.
