Trick Or Treat

One step- two step- three step- four
as they came up to the door

Dressed in costumes tonight
trick and treating with delight

Ghosts and goblins line the street
knocking on doors with a beat

Candy apples or trick and treat
voices shout for the sweets

Smiles on each little face
as they run place to place

One step- two step- three step- four
as they go happily away from the door.

Hello Phyllis ... the kids along our street dressed in costumes so our little dog went into a frenzy. Halloween is not so well known here yet, but it is growing - thank you Phyllis - Lindsay

Thanks Lindsay nice to see your name here this morning. Yes I can see the dog not knowing what to think of the costumes. I did not realize Halloween was not well known there. We as kids only had the party at school in the evening and did not go door to door as kids do nowadays. love phyl

This is so cute. Seeing those children in costumes is what makes this such a wonderful holiday. The delight on their faces is unforgettable. You captured that in your sweet poem. Hugs Connie

Thanks Connie. The grand kids did not go out this year but I gave a big bag full so they did not have to go out. The delight on the faces is unforgettable and all were so thankful. love phyl
