gorgeous autumn faerie with your light tangerine hair
your gray blue eyes so bright, your porcelain skin so fair
we have been waiting in the pumpkin patch for you
knowing you appear on October twenty-second, always true
You are more beautiful than last year, I think
your hair has a softness usually reserved for lacy pink
I feel an uplift in the breeze as you pass my way
you are forever in my heart, end of October, here to stay
