Tribute To Baltimore
Tribute to Baltimore
In memory of Freddy Gray
All The Colors Turn To Gray
On the thirteenth day of April
around the world some slept.
All the colors turned to gray
and in Baltimore some wept.
A young man with a troubled past
to his arrest he had submitted.
The world would soon then learn
no crime had been committed.
Heaven heard the plea's you made
angels listened as you cried.
While yet you were imprisoned
and help you were denied.
Oh Baltimore oh Baltimore
God help us all I pray!
As violence rises up in streets
and all the colors turn to Gray.
Where oh where will this all end
and how did this all start?
Where those assigned to saving lives
would have hardness in their heart.
Baltimore from me so far
still this much I know is true.
As all the colors turn to gray
my heart bleeds red for you.
Oh Baltimore oh Baltimore
God help us all I pray!
As violence rises up in streets
and all the colors turn to Gray.
