Tribute - For Ashmitha

You were a star to the darkest nights,
A rainbow in the skies of the damp mornings,

It was a pleasure to see you smiling,
Making me laugh when your jokes start cracking...

Without you, I don't know how lonely it would feel,
Imagining is too difficult, that's why I do not think,

Maybe the final day when we say goodbye,
We'll never leave each other...

It is unbelievable to realise, that we haven't met
In months, I haven't heard a 'tik tok' argument...

And then in the darkest days
you gave your tears to me,

And then you stood beside my side and
Washed the clouds away,

You brought sunshine back,
No rain can ever steal you...

And now I feel like crying,
A sweet sixteen but not beside you...

No words will be enough to bless you,
My dear friend...but it's the only thing that I can give...To you.
