Trials Into Triumphs

Often in this turbulent world Harsh trials seem to dominate Instead of love and compassion There is often bitterness and hate Disappointments bring us to our knees When we try to do that which is right Then we cry out to God, - - "Why" Have I failed to walk in the light ? But when we consider experiences Of great Bible characters of yesteryear It was when they were faced with trials That God delivered them from their fear Consider Abraham and his son Consider Jonah's plight at sea Consider Daniel in the lions den Consider that Paul in jail, was set free Triumph, usually is the product Of adverse and unwelcome trials That God "uses", painful circumstances To buoy us "through", treacherous miles So, - may He help us, to not grow weary When these conditions come our way Trials can be turned into triumphs Victory awaits, - at end of day !
