Trials and Tribulations
Theres a demon in my soul ever clawing for control.
Yet with everything that i am i tell him no.
For through this war that binds us so.
I want nothing more than to grow.
So keep clawing demon scum
For in the end its I who have won
And though its hard to carry on.
And its so hard not to give in some.
I must continue on till the final dual is done.
Before the light breaks this morning dawn.
Admit your defeat, battered and begone
And with a smiling face i meet.
A darkness i never seek.
But to my friends i must hide.
A demon on the other side.
With blood and bone.
Bile and stone
A horror i must face alone.
And in the dread and sorry state
My body acts upon my fate
With bruise and break and pain to feel
It is the cost for this dark deal
i see no light in this darkened pit
With demons, devils, spawn be lit.
With in this hell my torture sit.
With razor, blade, knife and bit.
And threw this monster that i see.
Shines a light inside of me.
A power all and above my own.
With radiant wings, to the sky I've flown.
