Trials

Wishing for a lighter load
Life such a rough lonely road
Sad thought overcomes the mind
Self pity seeming to make one blind
Can't feel past the growing pain
Hope eludes at life's multiplying strain
Expectation diminishing it seams
Memory looms with unfulfilled dreams
Mystery surrounding reason why
Lost desire becomes the excepted cry
Groping for a last tendril to hold on
Motivation seeking life to move along
The power to overcome is it there
Experience a stepping stone to share
Wise use of lessons learned
Strength might just be what is earned
