Trials

James 1: 2-4 Consider it pure joy When you face many trials This concept’s hard to comprehend When God’s love seems in denial But your faith is being tested Perseverance is the key To your spiritual maturity When no more doubt there’ll be Trials are a blessing Though we squirm at the time We pass through them better people When with our Father we align For in trials, we tend to seek Him To carry us to the other side In our weakness, He gives strength When in His love, we reside This concept of trials May be very new to you But the Bible clearly tells us This concept is God’s view Those trials are what make us More mature in our faith When doubt gives way to trust Greater blessings lie beneath What’s often on the surface Isn’t what’s hidden way below God doesn’t work on the outside For it’s your heart to be mellowed So when you suffer hardships And your life seems full of strife Remember the prize worth running for Trials lead to the ‘Crown of Life’. Thanks, Robert, for your kind comment. We all suffer from trials, not even the rich escape. Just a part of life. Can only look forward to heaven. Without hope we are lost. God bless, Maureen
