Tree-Talk

You stand
here for so
many years
In the sun,
shower and
cold so bare;
From where do
you get all
your strength -
From below
the earth or
from air?

Hear, my roots
are strong and
firm
Below the
surface of the
earth
Whence I get
all my strength
To stand to
yield for you in
mirth!
