Trees

Born to grow, tall and strong, and provide some comfort for those below. Against the wind and rain, not ever fretting the cruel snow. Some are cut down in lifes prime, to pass between lovers, and add warmth to cold nights. Of those left, late autumn brings beautiful color, its quite the awe inspiring sight. Every variety, size, shape, and color, come together, makes for a harmonious picture to see. I think thats how life should be, maybe we should all be like trees.

Hi James, I like, I wish I was a tree. I love how strong, they stand, but like us. They are knocked down, and cut to size. SO maybe, just maybe. I am a tree... This is really well penned piece. I love your rhyme scheme as well :) Linda
