Trees
The trees look like they're dancing
Though they are standing still.
This illusion granted by the branches twists,
With joy it does me fill.
The way they sing in the summer breeze
With the rustle of each leaf,
Can bring a measure of calm
And a sense of relief.
Though they seem motionless, they do live,
Each with its own character and flair.
Yes each one is unique and special.
Those threes are everywhere.
A tree may host a party
For a flock or two of birds.
A tree may be home to a dominant kind
Or it may be shared.
We can feel how much our Grand Creator
Cares about you and me
When we listen to His birds and trees
Sharing a sweet melody.
