Treasure House
Your treasure house oh Father is filled with many gem
priceless stones and gold and silver found within men
costly and refined cut to beauty rich and rare
they will form your church founded on Jesus loving care
A peaceful and mild spirit are ones that you seek
those who hunger for righteousness pure in heart and meek
those knowing your instruction their spirits must be filled
who mourn and for your sake like prophets have been killed
The gift you give where holy spirit lives for a creation new
what you mold has been foretold your children character hew
all will abide where you reside your will within a few
they will not falter but to the alter life's sacrifice so true
You have washed them clean and bright
removed their darkness and it's night
they live their lives with your Law in sight
to do your will and please you do delight
Each precious gem it's clarity no inclusion or flaw
must reflect the Light so clear and fulfill all your law
how could one hope to please and God be Loving True
if he hates his brother and what's harmful continue
There is beauty in the Truth the heart can never miss
facets crystal clear and bright the sight cannot resist
God has raised from living stone children of Abraham
from every nation upon the earth with Jesus take their stand
Their life is the Truth to nothing else will submit
for all of mans pleasure himself to benefit
you have formed them from the day they were born
unto the Truth and Love their lives must conform
And you oh Father are their glass of wine
to have been grafted in upon the Vine Divine
you have given the taste upon the bread of Truth
like every child you have fed them from their youth
