Treasure

I never thought id see you
But now it is sooner then I knew

Not the girl I was eight months before
The love of my life, to be true to you
Is what I swore

I thought I would never smile again
But my happiness is the gift you have given

I love you now and forever
To let go of you, No, I could never

I lock away your smile and steal it as my treasure
I have seized each laugh, giggle and shout
I seize them in memory of when we seized the day

I worship you daily my love is devout
Each memory has a golden sheen
Each one is precious
The most beautiful thing I have ever seen

Hoping the memory will forever last
