Treacherous World

I raise the curtain
And I know it beholds
Treachery,
Holds a key to the vault of hate
The spot light brightens
Those reflecting glass surfaces
Blurs the vision
I'm almost petrified
The voice from the back
Perplexed me
And those souls lingering css
Beneath my feet and in front of me
Try to manipulate me
I know I'm not their puppet
And I have a life of my own
A life I can judge on my own
And the path that I am in
But they don't even try "trying"
To understand me
I have a dream
And I move a step
But every time my feet moves
They intercept
Again and again
Revulsion conquers my heart
I know where I am walking to
But the road move me to different place
I was walking in the path of hope
But I'm strangled in the path of betrayal
