Treacherous, Their Ways

Treacherous their ways
    without sunlight's rays
  Paths of sleet and ice
break our limbs in a trice

Youths may look, leap and laugh
Elders dare not make this gaffe

The rower has put some strength in the step, but I know better than to go acting like I’ve got a new set of springs. Pop goes the tendon at our age! Hope you are well, enjoyed this!

No more spring for me -- in either my step or the weather... Here's hoping for a return of both! Excelsior! :) gw
