Travelling On

TRAVELLING ON

Into each life some rain must fall
but sometimes we don't know why,
then after the rain come rainbows
that colour a once dull sky.

To keep me travelling on.

There are days I may despair
when winter clouds turn to grey,
but there are more brighter ones
that can chase the blues away.

To keep me travelling on.

When the autumn season comes
and leaves die brown with stain,
I have seen so many spring-times
to know they will flourish again.

To keep me travelling on.

Whether in rain or sunshine
grey clouds or sky azure blue
each day can become a blessing,
its enjoyment is up to you.

To keep you travelling on.

Thank you for your comment. When I wrote it I was thinking of the song by the Ink Spots, 'into each life some rain must fall, but too much has fallen in mine'. Blessings, Vivien
