Travelling On
Upon the path my feet do stumble
Into the darkened night this eve
To walk on further, forever trying
So that my life be not deceived
Alone again, the darkness blankets
Within grim dreams, I now believe
I likened to this world of sorrow
A vessel, I, traverse the night
Are my eyes closed or are they open
Allowing not one shred of light
I fear the moment as I stumble
Fate unknown, which is my plight
The lunar orb, it wanes in distance
As shadows cast before my eyes
My hands outstretched, bare and open
Used not, to silence my own cries
As darkness seems so overbearing
My heart still beats, to my surprise
Alas, a clearing, so ever calming
There, a light, so summons me on
I see the source as sky now opens
I sense its power, mighty and strong
My heart now smiles as hope awakens
For here, right now, is where I belong
