Traveling Alone

ah the exhileration of the unknown
traveling alone
just time and time and time
new sites
new countries, food and books
sleeping
no schedule days and weeks on the beach
hotel beds all to myself
pillows
guidebooks
mysterious I think of myself moving through a different place
I can be invisible if I choose
or visible and talkative
no fear, no I got over that long ago
when I found out very young that you live alone
no matter who surrounds you
