Traveler

The stars peer through ever thinning clouds. Rain water drains away from the street. No time for me to stop and look around. Feeling the glances of those who pass me on the street. Shrug the cool off from the night, as my tired eye's begin to burn. Colored leaves tell me fall's well on it's way as the world continues on it's turn. They say he's traveled all across this land. Yet is there anyplace he's really been. Except for the rutted roads of quiet thoughts, looking to a future yet to see.
