Travel On

Travel on
I appear in a vast landscape of desert dunes with boots on
The sun is baking me slowly as I start to walk north from
On my journey I have no water but my thirst does not come
I have no food to eat but I never hunger for one single crumb
The desert blinds me with its curvaceous lines joining the blue sky upon
Surely soon I must reach a road or some markings of tracks but there is none
Alone with only my mind racing to configure why I am here but the brain is numb
At last I see a bird sailing in the blue above but far away and in the gaze of the sun
By now my boots are worn to their threads but what else can a man do but stand strong
I am lost in this wilderness forever I think then I awake to see next to me the only love my one
