Trauma Transformation

Walking along in the darkness I stumbled on a concerning sight A prepped victim Wrapped in crystal light The threads shone brightly Around the torso and neck But the blue head was uncovered Showing thoughts, not yet dead I looked for the spider in every space Knowing she would come and feast But there's no hurry When the victim has no hope of being released Why is the mouth and nose free Must she watch the soul make its flight Or is it hope that remains in the air Entreating the spark to ignite the fight ...to LIVE Every moment of every day The anger builds and the ties bind ...tighter to keep the fighter From waking then taking Every thought captive ...revealing the killing will never be stealing THE GIFT of YOU Written by Trudy Schrader on 01-09-2023
