Trapped Within Myself

With words to seal my coffin shut,
I said my last goodbye

To journey down and re-reflect,
on what I said, and why

It’s quiet in my earthen grave,
no light to mark the time

My flesh to rot with bones exposed
—finality unrhymed

nicely said and done.. by that time of death the persons looking at your coffin will reflect with grief of how the last good-bye was maybe ashamed or of joy of your last moments.
