I was trapped in denial limbo as my Dad Drifted into the depths of dementia No! It can't be! Why him? Why us? Lost in a labyrinthine maze of helplessness And disbelief trying to make sense of it "Not my healthy, gracefully aging Dad! He'll beat this disease!," I kept on telling myself Soon, I stopped believing my lies He's been gone over a year now Rest in peace, Dad Love you so much!
