Trapped

You hold the universe in your hands, you hold my heart in your infinite embrace.
Yet, my soul still doesn’t know it’s place.
This planet I’m living on is nothing but a micro-environment.
Release me from this earthly imprisonment.

You see all the galaxies in this universe and beyond.
Still, I wait for You to respond.
My voice is nothing but a dissonance.
Release me from this earthly imprisonment.

You are in everything we could ever imagine and more.
But, my soul is continuing to remain at war.
I beg You to make Your love immanent.
Release me from this earthly imprisonment.
