Trapped

Silent screams that no one hears
Trapped between two muted ears
Howling moans of loss and fears
Producing unseen tears.

Bars that disappear by day
Holding captive thoughts at bay
Desperate attempts convey
In vain. So there they stay.

Pacing back and forth inside
Ever watchful of outside
Captive prisoner paralyzed
In solitude abides...
