Transmutation Translation

japanese actresses
a japanese script
with english sub
titles tell of a
plot twist 
and why
not

the seven samurais
turned western
but this more
classically
set romeo
and juliet
as at

both female leads not
as at stratford and
avon where boys
were woman
because of
a higher
voice

but avant-guarde
where the duel
en garde took
the path of
no going
back
but

now as two women
become one in
lost lips of a
poisoned
kiss for
this tis
of the

lost letters and words
of a word smith no
as it's been said
wasn't written
by he who
shakes
his

spear but i'd 
like my bacon
well done even
so Crispin Glover
could utter scenes
of balconies but not
to wait for the coming

sun
