Transformed

I looked in the mirror
And stared in horror
My face so strained
I felt so pained
And thought with fear
Is this how I appear?
I was so freightened
And my horror heightened
I covered my mouth
It had gone south
This has to end!
I tried to bend
Grabbed something hard
Shattered the mirror so bad
Holding my flannel
I gathered the shrapnel
Joy filled my soul
Oh! I felt whole
I shattered my past
Now I'm having a blast
I have a new mirror
All nice and silver
Beauty did I gain
I feel so vain
Look what I did
I changed me-I did!
