Tranquility
TRANQUILITY
Standing and looking out over
the ocean time seems to standstill
No worries or anxiety not even
the slightest feel
The warm breeze combing
through my long dark hair
I take in a deep breath and
smell the salty air
Eyes closed, heart beating
nice and slow
Savoring this moment and
not ever letting go
My life is so blessed beyond
any words I could say
I look to the sky and ask GOD
to let it stay this way
Love, laughter and a happy
heart within myself
I want to bottle it all up,
and put it on a shelf
Storms in life are meant to
make us strong
There are reasons that some
situations do go wrong
I keep my strength of faith
and peace always in my mind
I take one day at a time and
never look behind
