Trance

A lonely tear
Slips off her eye
Her mouth open
A single cry

Quietly hoping
Mind at rest
The drop, gone frozen
For the best

Eyelids shut
Wall of water
Salty flood
Tears that shot her

Hands grow numb
As her breathing slows
Darkness come
Slowly grows
