Trail of Trust

The shadow of the night before.
Revealed that there will be no more.
The dawn rose up in mystic shade.
Awaiting what spirits had made.

The time has come to change direction.
Accept what is, reject rejection.
Believe in angels on our side.
And let go of what now has died.

What we believed in was the truth.
Until we learned things from our sleuth.
A darkness that confused the light.
That covered up all that was right.

We're left to start it all again.
Forget what broke our hearts back then.
And do the things we know we must.
When walking on this trail of trust.
