Tragic Fool
You speak as if you want indeed
To be without in truth his rule
Yet act as if he you do need
Escaping not and you the fool
He fancies life as if it were
A gift for him a Godly dream
Whilst you and yours the mangy cur
He deigns anoint beneath his stream
It saddens dearly one to see
You wither e'en before your Fall
And fear to witness tragically
You shall escape him ne'er at all
