Tragedy In Me

Who I am when no one sees a pit of blackness overcomes me all hopes lost to depressions disease desire claimed by minds tragedy This tragedy is ME A broken soul closed in bleeding heart of memories begin replaying scenes of dark and grim inflicting torture again and again This is My tragedy within No food, no drink, no air no sleep; a living nightmare into demon eyes I stare I have no courage or fear This tragedy... My Tragedy is everywhere... Lay

This is an astonishing description of depression, Lay. I hope you aren't really feeling this way. Guess we all have moments when the strife catches up to us and all we can see is "tragedy everywhere." A compelling poem, dear. Love, Carolyn
