Traded My Tears For Happiness
Traded my tears for happiness,
He took my frown and gave it a lift.
I gave him my heart with all the strings,
No words can explain these feelings.
So I write them down and think of him,
The one who ended all of my suffering.
He was waiting for me to get it right,
To see for myself I don't have to fight.
He's the only one who's loved me for me,
I will never have to fake it or be who I don't want to be.
I don't know if I deserve his love and care,
Just know I'll never give up and always be there.
