An affair Hollywood will always remember.
From the moment their eyes met
They fell in love, how we could forget.
It was soon after which they surrendered
Where love is concerned, not all is rendered.
The love soon became an affair of the heart
no one would tear them apart.
In a span of twenty five years
Nine films were made among all the tears.
Of the love that grew intensely between them
For he never once left her again.
She respected his wishes for she understood
That in private life he was not hers.
They never appeared in public together
Yet they shared a love that lasted forever.
